The Walking Festival programme for 2022 is getting back on track after the relaxing of restrictions from the continuing Coronavirus situation. Join us on one of the country’s largest free walking festivals. There will be guided walks every day to suit walkers of all abilities, ranging from easy walks of a couple of miles to fantastic challenge walks like The Pendle Way.

Three days of walking, with up to four walks per day, guided by the local ramblers. Discover the history and landscape around Shepton Mallet.

2022 is the eight walking festival, with new walks with a particular emphasis on culture and nature as well as some of great scenic beauty. There's something for everything with a wide range of walks to suit everyone. This festival will encourage you to take a break and get to know some of our wonderful local countryside, whether you are an experienced walker or not.
