Our Top 5 Women's Walking Trousers
Here's our selection of the Top 5 Women's Walking Trousers at the moment.
As with most outdoor kit, walking trousers have more than their fare share of technical phrases and acronyms - one to watch for here is DWR - or Durable Water Repellency - which is a waterproofing treatment sprayed onto the outer layer of the fabric. As the full name suggests, it's not waterproof in itself, but does reduce the amount of water going through the fabric. If you'd like any help with what to look for in a pair of walking trousers, then click here for our guide.
As we get to see new kit, we'll be updating this page, so keep popping back to stay up-to-date with our selection.

Sprayway Womens All Day Rainpant
The idea behind these trousers from Sprayway is to have a something that can be worn all day - despite the wet weather, so to that end, the All Day Rainpant is made from a stretch Hydro/Dry AWP fabric with a water-repelling DWR finish. That means they are fairly stretchy and water resistant too.
They've got two zipped pockets - so not as many as other trousers available but zipped so you can't lose your car keys on a walk - and a zipped fly with button fastening too. However, on most short walks where the weather looks fairly changable, these Sprayways would do the job of keeping your legs warm and dry very well.
